SAFE-IN: “Strengthening Actions against Fraud: Empowering Whistleblowing Directive Compliance”
Project Launch: February 1st, 2024
The project will span 12 months and is organized into three key actions and six work packages.
- Action 1 will focus on summarizing the regulatory framework and comparing the implementation of the new directive at both the Italian and European levels. It will assess current practices and identify the challenges faced by the various stakeholders involved in the project.
- Action 2 based on the findings of the context analysis, a new model will be developed to guide the implementation of three targeted training courses. These courses aim to train, raise awareness, and strengthen the capacity of key stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of the European directive.
- Action 3 create guidelines and best practices to be shared at the European level. These resources will be specifically tailored to the needs of public administration staff, municipalities, national authorities, companies, employers, employees, and the general public, helping to improve their understanding and application of the new directive
