SAFE IN project: kick off meeting

On Friday, March 1st, the kick-off meeting of the SAFE-IN Project, coordinated by ANCI Lombardia, took place.

The project, funded under the EU Anti-Fraud Programme, is titled “Strengthening Actions against Fraud: Empowering Whistleblowing Directive Compliance (SAFE-IN)”. It was conceived in response to the need for developing shared methodologies and best practices to support public administrations, companies, and publicly owned entities, which are subject to the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 24/23. These entities are required to implement internal reporting channels within their organizations, aimed at reducing and combating fraud and corruption, thus protecting the financial interests of the European Union.
